Entry requirements: am I eligible?

This programme is addressed to graduates from various field and young entrepreneurs who regard Digital Technologies and Internet as the most profitable areas for their businesses, or for those who have found an innovative niche in the domestic or international markets for their application as a business initiative.

A good command of the English language (both oral and written) is essential. Good knowledge of a second language – beyond mother tongue (among Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Urdu) is not required, but it is considered an advantage.

The potential candidates should be interested in innovation, in Internet and in the advances in digitization and social networking that are transforming how companies interact with customers and partners and compete on international markets and entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, the potential candidates should have an inclination to interpersonal relationships and Team Work, sensibility for international cultures.

Language requirements

Accepted english language certificates are the following:
TOEFL: internet – based (iBT) of at least 80 points; computer – based (CBT) of at least 213 points; paper – based (PBT) of at least 550 points
IELTS: of at least 6 points
PTE: of at least 53 points
CPE/CAE: any successful results if available
The certificate is not required for neither English mother-tongue applicants, nor for students who have obtained an English taught bachelor.

The certificate is not required for English mother-tongue applicants nor for students who have obtained a BA from an English language university.

Applicants who are not able to provide a language certificate can take an English Test at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (please contact the IDEA staff on this issue).

A certificate of any foreign languages other than English contributes to increasing the value of the application.
